The holiday spirit abounds as sites are offering sales and goodies leading up to Christmas. I covered several in
last week's column. Here are a few others.
Digital Artist Magazine offered a week of freebies. I believe they are all still available for download
here. I also see there is a new Editor-in-Chief at DAM. Best wishes to you Terri.
Shabby Pickle has various deals throughout the month. You can see them all on the
shoppe calendar.
Scrap Orchard is running a 12 days of Christmas promotion with lots of sales and goodies. You can follow the happenings on
their blog.
The
Little Dreamer Designs 12 Days of Christmas Sale starts tomorrow. You can see the calendar of events
here.
On a less festive, but still sale-related note,
Amy Teets is retiring from
Oscraps and is running a
buy-the-store promotion through the end of December. Amy has a wide variety of products including some gorgeous quick page albums.
Cinnamon Designs is having a
storewide 50% off sale this weekend. Check out this adorable little set.
Geeky Diva Designs has some great
hybrid templates at
ScrapMatters. The set includes 4 different polyhedron templates that can be used for creating gift boxes and ornaments. The additional preview images in the store show you several sample finished products. Note to Geeky Diva - your product is unpriced, but thanks :)

The
DigiDares blog is back up at a new address with their weekly challenges and great prizes.
Registration is now open for the
Amazing Digiscrapping Race hosted by
Natural Designs in Scrapbooking. This is a 6 week 'race' modeled loosely after the TV show Amazing Race. Entrance is free. Teams of scrappers pair up to complete various challenges and earn prizes along the way. Unlike the TV amazing race you don't have to 'beat' other scrappers. Simply complete each challenge to earn a prize. You can read more and get help finding a partner in the NDISB forums
here.
No Reimer Reason is hosting a
multiphoto layout challenge at
Go Digital Scrapbooking. She is offering a free template to help you get it done.
Hummie's World has a great
recoloring tutorial by Danielle of
Something Blue Studios.
The composition on
Christmas Wishes by neeceebee is a great approach for Christmas photos. I can envision this concept used for a multiphoto page where the photos are 'hung' as ornaments.

It's a rare find in today's galleries, but today I came across a page in which the photo is the predominant image. Scapa's
RAK for Amy is beautiful! Can we scrap like this more often? I'm writing it down as one of my new years resolutions. :)
